Fish-N-Go LLC Engineering Internship Opportunity
Company Overview: Fish-N-Go LLC is a startup founded through our high school’s incubator program. We specialize in creating bike attachments designed to securely hold fishing rods and tackle boxes, making it easier for fishing enthusiasts to transport their gear. Our product is in the final stages of design, and we are preparing for its launch. Initially, we will produce the first 100 units using 3D printing, with plans to transition to injection molding as the business grows.
Since its inception, Fish-N-Go LLC has achieved significant milestones, including winning $4,000 in our school’s incubator program pitch competition. Now we are finalizing production and preparing for market entry.
Internship Roles and Responsibilities: We are seeking a motivated and skilled CAD design intern to assist with finalizing our prototype design. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in product design and engineering. Responsibilities include:
Finalizing design adjustments for our prototype using CAD software.
Ensuring compatibility of design files for transition to injection molding.
Collaborating with the team to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions.
Transferring files between Fusion 360 and other CAD platforms if necessary.
Assisting in preparing technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
Intern Requirements:
High school junior or senior.
At least 2 years of CAD experience through school engineering programs or job experience.
Proficiency in Fusion 360 or the ability to transfer files from Fusion 360 to other CAD software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to dedicate time and meet project deadlines.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative.
Free periods available: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, or 9th.
